It is very difficult to tell from photos but not sure if there is enough perch room for three hens although bantams would probably be fine. It does depend on breed! Re perches - round is not the best shape. Oblong with rounded edges are better :) Agree with Joyfull re weld mesh. It does look as though you have put a lot of thought into this, good luck :)
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted!!

I'll have a word with the other people nearby if they've had any problems with foxes, the amount of rabbits around here should keep them happy though, but i'll source some other mesh if needed.  I was worried about the spacing of the perches too I'll see how it goes and then have a look when they settle, I'll trim the shape too as it won't be difficult to do with the branches.

Cheers for the advice from you all, looks like I'll be busy in the next week or so.

The number of available rabbits will not, unfortunately, determine whether or not a fox takes a fancy to your chooks. Do not under estimate foxes or do so at your chooks peril! :(

One observation from your photos..any hens on the upper perch will poop on hens on the lower perch

Catching chickens for fun or a meal is far easier than chasing a rabbit so the fox will always go for the easier option I'm afraid  :(
Staffies are softer than you think.

Sorry to jump in on this topic but i'm at the same stage. I've ordered a 6m x 3m run with pvc coated 1.1mm chicken mesh which has 25mm x 25mm holes. A plan to bury 9-12" of this mesh into the ground. As an idea would it worth smashing numerous glass bottles at the foot of this mesh to prevent foxes tunneling under it? Or will it be enough just to bury it that deep? Any thoughts or comments much appreciated. My house is very rural so good chance of foxes in the area, they've woke me up on numerous nights so i know they are out there.

Also any idea on how many chickens i could keep in this space?

Dont smash bottles because if your hens scratch the ground near the fence then they could churn the glass up and cut themselves. Also rats can dig deeper than that (as I have found out). Ideally your best bet is to either have slabs standing on their ends or have weldmesh underneath all of your run,

Or an electric fence. We have so many foxes near us and have had a near miss.

If you have chickens the foxes will find you I am afraid.

Re the perches, how high do they have to be from the flat surface? Could I put on on the lid of the roost box?
