I have been growing potatoes in bags for a couple of years now but want to change the position of where I normally grow them.  There is a section of the garden which would be better to use but it only gets about 2-3 hours of sunlight in the morning as it is behind a garage.  Would this be enough sun for potatoes?

You could have a go, but I think it would be a bit of a struggle 3 hours of good light a day.

I very much doubt you'd get a worthwhile crop as they prefer full sun.

You'd be better of with some not daylight adjusted original variety.

Earlies or very late ones might fare better. Leggy plants you can expect with not a famous crop, but they shall do something.

I have some forgotten potato refuse flourishing under a huge tree and a wall in the deepest shade, far ahead of my chitted ones. I'm not expecting a big crop of them though.
