I grew them last year, and did have a fair few ripen. I did find them a little soft and wattery though rather than more fleshy than I prefer. But I guess a lot of it comes down to personal choice.  I am going to grow them again this year as I have some left over seeds.

I got some seeds left from last year up for grabs if you want to send me a stamped addressed envelope you can have them.

If that's ok with mods?

Tigerella has a lovely sharpness for those who like a "grown up taste".

Sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut and be suspected of knowing nothing than opening it and proving it.

The soil must make a huge difference - cos they weren't well flavoured here  :(

Has anyone grown tigrella toms recently. I grew them a couple of years ago and the were very tasty. Have been looking out for seeds in the garden centres but no one seems to stock them.
Has anyone grown them or seen seeds recently

I grew them last year and they cropped really heavilly. I have some seed which I saved from the best fruits to use this year.

I am trying these but I am rubbish with toms from seed. I can go plug plants and I can buy seeds but the gap between baffles me. Mine always go leggy  ::)

Ps premier seeds for me
