Purple majesty and Casablanca. Casablanca I'm not so worried about, they have replaced it with something similar enough. Purple majesty is more unusual though and we really enjoyed it last year. They have replaced it with Shetland Black which is probably the closest you can get but isn't really the same at all. I will just have to make sure I order even earlier next year that is all -lesson learnt!

That's very kind Aunt Sally. I would be interested to know if they have them but don't worry about getting me some - now they have sent replacements I won't have space anyway and I don't want to throw any away as that is just wasteful. I think that all the companies underestimated it's popularity this year as I think it was generally a new product last year

Wilkinson's are selling Casablanca - £1 for 5 seed spuds.

You could buy a couple of packs and grow them in tubs/buckets if you're pushed for space.

We had the same problem with Kings last year, so I think that many companies have the same problem. Off putting, which you can only avoid by buying from a garden centre/ shop me thinks.
