This may seem an odd one, maybe not?? My brother has a fair sized home reared flock to produce eggs but inevitably has more cock birds than he knows what to do with!! We're trying to find out if there is anyone who knows a slaughterer who'd come to his house and dispatch the birds and help process them afterwards? This is for West Kent, Cranbrook area.

My OH is licensed for poultry slaughter, but we are in Lincolnshire.

You could try getting in touch with The Humane Slaughterer's Association.  Not everyone belongs to the HSA, but them or maybe DEFRA are a good starting point.

Hope you find someone rd, or maybe your friend can go on one of the courses to do it himself.

Not a nice job, but I use a wall mounted dispatcher if I have to do it.
