I need to move my raspberries to tidy up the bed. When I first moved onto the plot I dug up all the canes I could see and made a nice bed with 5 rows planted.. Unfortunately the last winter killed 80% of them so i need to tidy up and make a new start.  When would the best time be to move them?

I've just moved a load of raspberry canes yesterday, from a neighbour's plot to mine. I had to do it now as he needed them to be moved asap.
I assume they're autumn fruiting, as most of the fruit is finished, but there is still the odd raspberry here and there. Do you think that's right? If so, based on information I've gleaned from this forum, I should be able to prune them right back in a month or so. Alternatively, would it do any harm to do it now?
