We are thinking of getting a patio apple tree.
a/ When is the best time of year to buy ??
b/ We would like a Golden delicious, is that Possible ??

Patio trees do tend to come in pots in great numbers, so it doesn't matter, however, this is supermarket, not gardening. I'd advise you get one from a good nursery, even if costs 2 quid more. Not necessarily, that it will do either, especially for the quality you get.

Golden delicious is possible to grow in all sorts of conditions, I understand, mine is not a patio tree, but I agree with the fancy, nice. Contact some good nursery, like one of the many of them: http://www.keepers-nursery.co.uk/
