Encouraging more squash?
« on: August 27, 2013, 22:54 »
Evening all,

My crown prince squash plants have produce a couple of monsters, but nothing else has set, and from 3 huge plants, I only have about 6 squash.

Nothing else seems to be coming, although there are still many make flowers.

What can I do to get a couple more squash to appear?
When weeding, the best way to know if its a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull it.

If it comes out easy, it was a valuable plant !

By now it may be too late.  I nipped the growing tips off all mine today as I think it's too late for any to come to fruition even if they do get any fresh ones on.
