Hi all,

Some of my garlic has started to grow a crown like blob at the top of the leaf, is this going to be a flower and what should I do, should I pull it all up.  I pulled two this morning and the stems have gone quite woody.

Many thanks for any help, ive not grown garlic before.

It's called a scape and you can eat them 

Best to nip them all out though.
