Leek 'Autumn
« on: August 31, 2013, 09:47 »
Just bought some seedling named Leek 'Autumn so I can get a few more leeks in but the ticket on them says to plant over a foot apart ? is this not way to far after all leeks are very narrow. It doesn't say any thing else about the variety on the ticket

I do mine about 8ins apart in the row and a foot between the rows -the stems are skinny but the roots spread quite wide  ;)
