i have just seen the weather and it looks like we might be getting some snow    and i was worried about my hens do i need to do any thing for them??? or will they be alright i dont like the thought of them being cold on the allotment also my hens arent all ladies ive got what looks like two cockerals and they seem to be getting ok at the moment but i know that they will fight so if any one wants one free of course just let me know thanks

Your hens will be fine as long as they have some shelter if they need it.

Like Munty always says, its not the cold that kills em, its the draughts!  So as long as your henhouse is draught free, and has good ventilation, they will be fine!  after all, they are covered in feathers just like all the best duvets!!!
