We have had six good weeks of constant fruit but now some leaves a dying off.  :wacko: i dont remember this happening a this time of year before. Do i need to just do a good clear out, other years we have had two crops if they are kept well watered  ???

the plants will keep cropping and growing but the older leaves will die off now and should be picked off and binned as they often hold diseases. The maximum life for strawberry plants is 5 years and they peak at 3 yrs. Time to consider some refurbishing as well.

Ok brill another job for tomorrow.

We will be removing the worst bed at the end of this year as we have too many  :unsure:
