Just having a quick furtle in one of the containers I have some spuds in, and just below the surface, I encountered these eggs. What are they? Will they munch my spuds? Is there anything I can do about it?

Since posting, I've been having a prowl around the net, and reckon it's either vine weevil, or slugs, or snails. Still stuck for what to do about 'em.

You don't give any size indication..but they do look like snail or slug eggs. You won't want to keep them!!

Quite large as buggy stuff goes. Very squishy too. Well they were until I made them exceptionally squished. I hope they are slugs or snails as they will be easier to see and deal with when they hatch than weevils would be.

SNAILS!! definatley! squash them..

Look like slug or snail to me.

They could also be worm eggs.
