My tomatoes did that when I planted them out without hardening them off.  They still look a bit sick.  Never mind I'll know better next year.   

I do think it is tricky to get the watering right too, I think I probably overwater, does the meter work to tell you when you have watered enough, or just when you need to water, if you see whAt I mean?
