I have grown some peas carouby and when I went to pick the pods some had good size peas in.  Can I just let them keep growing and eat the peas like normal peas. The ones I have picked I wondered about cooking in a bit of butter

Why grow mange tout if you want peas?

Leaving it will not make it inedable but I doubt it will be as good as a proper pea variety.
