Appenzeller - crowing??? Now with pics

Appenzeller - crowing??? Now with pics

We hatched a silver appenzeller 7 weeks ago, we had convinced ourself it was a girl - today its making a funny noise bit like a long squawk would this be it learning to crow??  It has the start of red wattles but no comb at all.


Not the best of pics had to do them through the run as had noone to hold him/her

It sounds a bit early for crowing but others might have experience to the contrary.  Best to post some photos for people to give you their opinion.   ;)
