Sneaky Slugs
« on: June 17, 2013, 12:25 »
I planted a small clematis against my allotment shed and surrounded it with bark chippings.  When I went back the next day the plant had been stripped of all its leaves.  The sneaky blighters must have abseiled down the shed.  Is there anything I can put on my shed to stop them from doing it again?

I don't think that I have a good answer to your question, I am surprised as I have lots of slugs and a few clematis, but the slugs have never gone for mine (probably too many other tastier things!). Just wanted to say welcome. :)

Grinling, after reading that list I feel truly blessed to have Clematis at all! :)
