It's been great up there! I've met some people I know already and new people & all have been really nice & helpful! I've been lucky as I've been given a free composter and a blue water butt ( taps only gonna cost £3 @ Wilko) and a huge glut of rhubarb! Crumble & a purée for baby! I've been lucky and bought a keter 6x6 shed for £70 cost to get friends hubby to deliver for me but I'm happy as about £350-400 new! Still going to save wonky shed aptly named 'Wonky'. Been busy doing ing moving raspberries ( looked liked I'd been fighting wild cats) & got sunburned once! Slowly but surely getting there but in no rush now as when I look at the perfectly tilled and layed out ones I just remind myself that they've been there for many years!! One is 27yrs! Plus he's now got a rotavator! ( handy to know ;) ) in general though I'm thoroughly enjoying it!! And proud! So thanks everyone for your support & advice! I will continue to ask and update with pics but in true BH Monday style it has rained today... Saved me a job but went up this morning with the kids to check on some plants and clear some more rubbish out of wonky! Did notice that in 8yr olds words " dwarfs ( beans) have been munched on but still there... They'll live"! And that's how I see it now... All I plant has 2 options .... Live or die! Going to be eaten by either us or the pests! Simples! ;) x

I was also going to suggest sandpit and swing if you have space, I got one from car boot for 3quid and when my 15mth old was a bit younger he could happily be in the baby swing watching me garden, before that we used a jumperoo (got for free as was faded) keeps little one safe and happy, just remember shade them somehow. I use the  fancy off road jogger pram I was given as a make shift wheelbarrow. Works a treat

Hi Fibo
I have about 10ish spare packs of seeds if you want (spring onions, onions ,carrotts, etc etc)
If you send me your address i will send free of charge.
p.s we all had to start where you are and know how hard/daunting/exciting it is.
good luck
Johnny.
