My pumpkin and squash plants are in modules still in the greenhouse and the roots are now coming out of the bottom of the pots.  Every year I seem to plant them out to early and last year they didn't grow at all! the weather is terrible here at the moment with heavy rain and wind - so can I pot them on again and keep them in the cold frame until the weather improves or will this do them more harm than good.

Especially with my champion-to-be Atlantic Giant pumpkins!

I hope so, because that is exactly what I've been doing today.

Yep - only yesterday I stayed in out of the rain and potted on Courgettes, Pumpkins, Squashes and even some runner beans. Still too cold for any of these to venture out.

Sweetcorn is still very small in large takeaway paper coffee cups - would have been romping out of their pits by now past other years.
