Nettle compost
« on: May 03, 2013, 12:44 »
I've never done this before (nettle compost) but yesterday pushed some nettles into a 6 pint (empty of course) milk bottle container then filled with water.
Plan is / was leave - for how long? then use as a feed when watering and also start new compost off when next milk empty.

Think this will work? Do I dilute it or use neat?

Hi oscar  :) I've done the same but in a small barrel, i was told to leave it for 2 weeks, then when using it, to dilute it to the colour of weak tea, then again, i could be wrong, only in my 2nd year of this!!  ::)
It's like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder how i keep from going under......
