YIPPEEEEEE - at last.
« on: April 29, 2013, 19:53 »
Well  today I had 'the letter' saying we had got our allotment, anyone would have thought I had won the lottery, thats how sad I am - lol.  Had a little peek earlier, but until I get the key cannot get onto the plots.  It looks a decent size and not toooo overgrown.  Will keep you posted.  :D

Well done there Dandy - I know how you feel.. I was the same but got the key the day I went up.. I'm also our Lettings and site management committee member and given out 4 plots lately - everyone has been soooo over the moon.

Go and see all the info on the links at the top of the page - from sorting out your new plot to planting and fertilizing etc.. There's some good info there.

Congratulations and welcome to the world of allotmenteering!  We're in our 4th year now and just as excited at the thought of going there as we were in the 1st year.  You can't beat it.  Plus, this is a great site and a great bunch of people to help with your questions!   :D

Getting a new Allotment is a great feeling, I remember 5 years ago how excited I was when I got mine.
99% Organic and 1% Slug Pellets.
