Sorry you'e had a bad experience. Can you put the egss and money nearer your door / windows to encourage honesty? Psrhaps a sign inviting anyone who cannot afford your eggs to come and ask at the door might jog the odd conscience?
There are loads of good, honest people in the world, you just had a bad experience. Down here in rural Somerset our local organic farm has an honsety shop. You just go in, choose your veg (all price-labelled) and drop the money in the pot, which usually has plenty of money already in it if you haven't got the right change. I don't think htey've had a problem, other than a few promisary notes which makes their weekly accounting tricky.
