Now The strimmer is only 6mths old but has decided not to start tried new petrol , easy start etc taken plug out and heated it up  so now at a bit of a loss without further stripping down ! any one had similar problems

Yes. Local repair people said it wasn't worth repairing. Ours went kaput just after a year, and it hadn't been used much before that. We now have a more expensive strimmer that seems a better investment.

hi the strimmer manufacterer you mention doesnt honour warranties (eg if bought july 2013 breaks down january 1st 2014 machine out of warranty )other companies give year warranties from day of purchase not year of manufacter.Try stihl ,husquvana be careful with chinese made ones make sure of good parts back up  jezza

I am in the trade I only use stihl or husqvarna ! Yes they are expensive BUT there aftersales Care can't be faulted !   I have no connection
