Kidneys (soaking)

I dont believe I have ever soaked them in Milk before, an doing it now, but I usually take the stem out and soak them in a little salt water (sometimes you can taste the urine in them if you dont) is milk a better way to take the urine taste away??

I was taught to soak them in water with a little vinegar added ;)

I was thinking that the fat molecules would be attracted by the fat in the milk.... but I'm not a scientist or a chemist, so dont know, but it was a thought
