I lost one chick yesterday and 2 today... they're fully feathered, there coronation light sussex approx 8 weeks old, and in the main coop with the others (but in a hutch) in the hutch there is 10, but since local fireworks have started iv been losing some

So is it possible they was cold, or could fireworks actually kill them?

I know fireworks can kill pets, as already lost a rabbit..

Have all the young birds been inoculated against the many diseases that the older birds may be carrying with no ill effect to themselves ?

Theyre fed ACS medicated feed, other then that, nothing else..

Could you put them under heat on a night just to see if it makes a difference.  All my chicks have been fine with the fireworks. 

Can they all fit in the sleeping area of the hutch?  If not that might be the problem.  You could always make a cover for the meshed front for on a night.  Make sure they have ventilation though.

Ill get them moved tomorrow night, its 11pm here and my tourch batteries r dead..
