Hi all again please pardon my ignorance here on this one.
I have introduced a cockerel to my hens and they all seem to be getting on fine no problems he certainly is keeping them in line.

I Know cockerals crow I am not that daft but I was under the impression he would only be vocal on a morning whereas he seems to be at it all day (crowing that is)

today is really the first day he has crowed all day usually on an afternoon he goes all quiet.

Scara, as mentioned in my previous post, my 3 cockerels crow BEFORE 1st light-currently about 4.30am!!! and then intermittently throughout the day. But I think they do it more when they know I'm around-they watch the kitchen window, hoping for some treats :roll: Hope you have understanding neighbours, or no neighbours...

who I have 4 cockerals I just love them bous is no neighbours

I have one "" Wellington" who crows all day but the other 3 don't make any noise :?: don't know why maybe only one does as he is boss who knows :?
