Vibernum bush dying
« on: September 17, 2012, 15:58 »
I have a Vibernum bush which is slowly dying. It has a fungus growing on the branches most of which is a grey colour but there are some bits that are more of a yellow shade. I  have cut out a lot of the bad branches but still leaves are turning brown and it is going down hill.

I have taken some pictures which I thought I would be able to attache to this message but as yet I have not found a way of doing so. I see there is a gallery but cannot fathom out how to put the pictures on there so you could see exactly what the problem is.

Can anyone help please??

Regards,

RonBin

Have you seen this thread with instructions on how to attach pictures?

It explains attaching from your PC, via a photo hosting site such as photobucket and also how to attach from an iPad.

I think photos would be useful. :)

Are they the ones in reply #2?  There were only three different images waiting approval...

The grey and yellow growth looks like lichen and shouldn't harm the bush at all.

Pics 1&2 look like flower buds - at least, mine is starting to put out new flowers and the buds look like that!

Don't know what's happening to your leaves though
