i have  been tidying up this morning and just wondered if my perpetual spinach was worth leaving in for next year or whether its best sown fresh each year .
its been fabulous this year. i have been pulling the leaves off like cut and come again lettuce and theres been loads for me and my chooks which they love.

Moved.   Which is what I suggest you don't do with your perp spinach!  Leave it in until it bolts next summer - then feed it to chooks.  :D

I let mine go to seed this year for the wild birds  :tongue2:  

... but where I left it gave me a few freebis back to plant for the next season ... always good to get food for free  :D  :wink:

Very true, I have self sown plants on the ready, I wanted and did save the seed, but I don't so much seem to need it now... :lol:
