I went to harvest Beetroot yesterday and found that they were all eaten away and in each of the holes was a big slug surrounded by baby ones.  I sprinkled blue pellets of death but think I may have to use Nematodes as they are under the ground.

I have masses of really huge ones this year... They're even chomping through the courgettes plants stems, hard and spiny as they are! I regularly go out in the evening to kill them, but the more I kill them the more I find them.
I had a good round of killing when some of my lettuce bolted: I pulled the lettuce out and put it on the ground where I tend to find them, and then in the night I caught dozens of massive ones on it... After a few rounds of this, I'm managing to get less damage on my plants.
