They should be on the wormer for 7 days.  It is best if they don't free range whilst on the flubenvet pellets as they might not get enough for their daily dose.  They should not have any treats either for the same reason.  It sounds really tough but the week goes really quickly and I am sure they will forgive you eventually!   ::)

Don't they just!! We were advised to give 4 hens access to at least 20 sq feet of exercise space. We actually have an 80 sq foot covered run (which is like Ford Knox) and has different levels and roosting bars. My 4 girls come out into this in the morning to eat and drink and then about 10am they get let out into a fenced enclosure containing logs and bushes etc which is about 450 sq feet. If we're late letting them out they complain very loudly but then, once out, will happily dig and scratch around. However, by about 2pm they start to complain and patrol the edge of the netting because they want to come into the main garden, (we do let them, but only under supervision because we have one hen who always manages to get into the vegetable area despite all manner of fencing). They watch the kitchen window like hawks to spot any movement. I've come to the conclusion that however much space you give chickens they will always want more and moan if they think they're hard done by.  :tongue2:
