Last year was a disaster - I thought I had dried them enough and then stored in plastic basket in garage. When we came to use them they were just a soggy gloopy mess. So extra drying this year. But how to store do I try the basket again or hang them in old tights. Any other suggestions?

store in cool, lit area. Potatoes in the dark, onions in the light. Pickle some in Nov for Christmas.
