Shall I just dig these up, have they gone to seed? and also is it too late to plant again from seed? I think it was all the rain we had





Most of my brassicas (I think you call them?) are wimpy like the cabbage and brussles as well, will they recover?
If Its Not Growing... Its Dead.

those cabbages look as if they were caulis  :lol:
Dig'em up and sow some winter brassicas instead :)

tiny heads like that are usually a sign of lack of nutrition - they are most avaricious veg! all the rain we have had has probably washed away a lot of the nutrients in the soil. Dig em up!
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

yup - might as well persevere with them = but feed them! By the way, brassicas like to be very firmly planted - otherwise their very fine roots get torn when the plant moves in the wind - fewer roots equals less chance to suck up nutrients - so again, something to think about for the future. good luck
