Anyone know what this is??!
« on: July 20, 2012, 08:05 »
I found this on a plant this morning but I'm not sure what it is?!  It's the 1st red thing I've seen this year apart from rotten strawberries  :D

There'll be a mass brawl later to see who is gonna be the one to eat it, unless someone snaffles it while I'm at work!!

And just to prove you can grow toms in wellies like Peppa Pig's grandad does on the telly!!  ;) They're not the healthiest looking but it's worked!!  :D

I think you've got that right! You'd better take it with you. ;)

I think that's blight - or lack of nutrients?

It's not blight, we warned stratts what would happen growing toms in old boots, but he did it for the kids, and at least he managed to get some fruit  :D

Just had our first tigerellas today (one each!)  :)  Fab flavour  :nowink:
Marvellous isn't it? Worth all the heartache and effort.  Hope they don't taste of wellies, Stratts! ;)

Yeah I forgot to put holes in my wellies so they got waterlogged but have recovered quite well tbh.

You never know I might have cheese 'n' tomato's  :D  :D
