Bare Root Worcesterberry
« on: July 20, 2012, 14:24 »
Hi,

With the not very summery weather we have been having, my mind has turned towards Autumn.

With that in mind, I was wondering if anyone knows anywhere I can get bare root worcesterberrys (ribes divericatum)? Preferably close to Edinburgh.

Obviously not quite yet, but I thought I'd try and plan ahead. :)

Cheers!

You could try contacting local garden centres nearer the time or tree/fruit tree/hedge suppliers you might be prepared to travel to. They are, of course, available online from places such as this which I picked at random:

Bareroot plants will travel quite happily if packed properly and I'm sure many nurseries will post.
