The forecast is sunny for Sunday!
Do you think it's worth bunging in some late dwarf beans as a last ditch attempt to get something off the plot? Or give it up as a bad job and prepare for next year?

along with perpetual spinach, carrots and spring cabbage

As so much has been a dismal failure this year I am not giving up and will sow lots of things this weekend. It will or it won't survive or thrive, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
As well as the above I'm going to throw in some chard, chinese cabbage and fennel. Eyes and fingers crossed for a really warm autumn.

I've had 2 sowings of carrots fail this year, but today I bought a packet of autumn king 2 and they're going in containers in the greenhouse untill they do sommat, then they'll go outside. One of our members swears by the method and you should see his carrots and parsnips. They do transplant!

Had yesterday off work and it was a gloriously sunny day here.
I have sown some coriander in the poly-tunnel. No idea whether it will work but it definitely hasn't worked outside so thought I would give it ago. Threw in a few radish as well. Also sowed some Kale and some spinach in a raised bed.
I may be just feeding the slugs but it was a treat working in the garden with the sun on my back

Well, the sun was shining yesterday up here, so I went out to tidya few things up.... and it started to rain!
The sun carried on shining, but it rained the whole time I was outside, from clouds I could not see!
Oh, and it stopped when I came in....
