Black Fly on underside of courgtte leaves
« on: June 26, 2012, 16:58 »
Having daily sprayed my Broad beans with an organic spray for black fly, I now find that ants are farming them on the underside of my courgette leaves. Is it a particular bad year for aphids? Do they like particular climatic conditions or is the real problem the number of Ants in my Garden?!! I grew  Broad beans last year and can't remember the black fly arriving until mid July.....
