I hope you got lucky.

I didn't go as my DIL wanted a chat over coffee ... definitely a cheaper option

You could have combined the 2.Not that I'm trying to lead you into temptation

Well, just to update...

I managed to get a bokashi composter at the Dobbies near Atherstone this afternoon.  There were two left on the shelf after this, although I did see another lady with one at the checkout later.  Whether there are any more or not I wouldn't know, but the shelf wasn't that big so I suspect they've been replenishing them?!?!

As for other bargains, I didn't really find much that i needed but there were various random bits all at good discounts - just depends what you're after really.

I went to Whitacre Garden Centre in Warks. Sad to say it's closing down at Christmas :(
Nearly everthing is either at 50% or 25% off.
The compost is the best bargain, Westland Multipurpose 60 LTR is normally £5.99 but you can buy Four for £10.00, that's £2.50 a bag. Needless to say I bought twelve bags and the car certainly felt it.
I'll be back tomorrow for another car full :D :D
