Hey all, just reading up on dates and expected pulling time, this site states I should pull when see flowers any thoughts

This year seems to have encouraged flowering, but not necessarily plumped up the tubers.
If yours have been growing for 10 or more weeks - have a furtle in the soil under the haulms and see if they are worth digging yet, mine weren't after 12 weeks  :(

They are at about 9 weeks, I had a furtle but not alot I can feel to be honest - sadly I lost a few stems due to the wind.

Best just hope & pray, I was under the assumption of leave for 12 (ish) weeks and then have a furtle / pull of the first bag - just the link about flowers through me off as all my pots have flowers

hi poolman, my red dukes went in very early march, and are just starting to show flowers, so i dug one up the other day, and the potatoes were so small that i quickly replanted it. very dissapointed, also fed up of buying shop spuds when this time last year i was eating my own allotment ones.  i shall give them another week and then have another furtle.
