I would also have a look at the longer-term forecast for your area; I've heard reports that after the middle of next week we're due another cold spell.

I hope so!! All of the above along with tomatoes, courgettes and cucumbers will be going out over the weekend starting with 50 sweetcorn tomorrow, the forecast for South Yorkshire next week is highs of 18°C and lows still in double figures so that will do for me

I'll be planting all of mine this coming weekend, with the exception of half of the sweetcorn which is still only a couple of inches tall. Will also be planting out a few tomatoes which I just cannot squeeze into the greenhouse

 Everything has however been hardened off.

Where did you hear this? I was going to put my peppers out in the polytunnel but can wait if it is true.

Can't remember specifically - it might not be true and the polytunnel should be OK.

If you look at the met office website you can get 5 day forecasts for your local area and then longer-term general trends.
