Hey,

What type of chick is this?





I can add more pics if required...

I basicily wanna know what chick it is? and if its male/female

(the type of chick is a issue as i lost my records)

could it be a light sussex, the comb is quite big so is it male??   Guess you can only wait and see.  Good luck

Not 100% sure but it looks either like a light sussex or a cross breed with some light susses origin, and the bad news is that i think its a cockerel, becasue of the comb size however as it might be a cross breed certain characteristics may mean nothing. just have to wait. hope that helps a little

For comparison this was my Light Sussex.  I think he was about 4 weeks old in the photos.

It does resemble my Light Sussex Bantam chicks but bigger so not Bantam!   :blush:

Must admit Craig, I couldn't see a comb on your chick, but people may be looking at whatever that is on the wall behind its head?

lol, didnt see that 1st time around.

I thought they were refering to comb on the bird in the later pictures (which i beleive is a different bird and being shown for comparison only)
