I have 5 chickens and a cockerel   The cream legbar,ancona and blue marans lay what I would call medium sized eggs. the black tailed columbian lays large eggs and has indeed laid three eggs each over 3 1/2 inches long.  Whats funny is that the Buff Sussex who is roughly twice the size of the other birds lays tiny little brown eggs about 1 1/4 long.  She may look like a turkey, hence why we call her Bernard, but she lays eggs like a sparrow!!!!!

Lol poor Bernard i am new too keeping chickens so i can not answer this for you but i have two cream legbars and they lay different colour blue eggs and size.

Is she younger?  I find that my youngest hen lays slightly smaller eggs than the others but then my second youngest used to and they have got bigger now

Yes although I bought them all at the same time from th esame breeder she is the youngest and th eothers have been laying since I got them  I have noticed the other hens eggs have got bigger the more they lay  but  these seem tiny compared to the size of Bernard,,,
