My chicks are around 6 weeks old now, and I'm wondering if you lovely people will help me sex them please  I appreciate they are not the best quality pics, but the little devils never stay still.

Hi the third and fourth pics look like cockerals but im no expert

You cant really tell by the pictures, try a piece of card under the neck feathers if they look pointed it's a cockerel and if they look rounded hen (so they say) worth a try it's supposed to work, Mike

Our 33 chicks are 4 1/2 weeks old now and we can tell which one is the rooster. All of a sudden his little red comb is 3 times the size of the hens! I loved your pictures, very pretty chcikens and to me they look like they are hens. But I am new at chcikens, lol.

Light Sussex are notoriously difficult to sex and often you won't know until one crows. I have hatched Light Sussex and I got a 'feeling' about mine and it turns out I was right but I couldn't say why
