Red cabbage for pickling?

Can anyone recommend a good red cabbage for pickling going to have my first crack at it this year.
Faff free zone!

I grow "Red Jewel" it's a really solid cabbage, seems to store quite well pickled for a red variety and is really crunchy.

No doubt a list will now follow of a lot of other varieties!

Red Drumhead is the "staple" red cabbage, re them for years. Not sure why I went on to "Ruby Ball".

I know I had a good reason for trying "Red Jewel", I'm sure it will come to me.
