The trouble with early sowings....
« on: March 20, 2012, 21:41 »
I planted 3 varietys of toms in late jan. Cedrico, Shirley and Sungold. All are growing away nicely now in the greenhouse. Out on the bench in the day, into the heated growhouse at night. The trouble is........they are getting too big!
They are not leggy at all really and are nice healthy plants but i dont like the fact they are so crammped in the growhouse now and before long they just wont fit.
Is it sensible to maybe bring them in home after dark, and put them back out in the greenhouse before sunrise? The greenhouse is only 15 yards from the back door so its no real problem. Come next month the nightime temp should start rising i hope...

If it's not a problem to you, it won't be to them!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
