I have only ever grown one sort of pea at a time.

This year I have three different tall peas that I plan to grow near each other in the same bed.

Will the resultant peas be OK for next year to use as seed, true to type?

I have read that this should be so, but wanted to double check please,  before I plant them and construct the supports.

Sunny, peas are self fertile and only very rarely cross - the Alderman and the blue ones were saved seeds

I have some tall golden podded mangetout as well (only 10 seeds though) and want to be able to grow these in greater numbers next season 

The aldermans and blue ones are about an inch and a half tall in their pots, out in the garden.

Not risking direct sowing 'cos of the mice, and not planting them at the plot  yet 'cos of the weather forecast
