Pluot now flowering
« on: March 13, 2012, 18:30 »
Yes, even in Glasgow, my Pluot has started flowering. There is no sign of insect life yet, so I will have to resort to hand pollination. No sign of any other plums flowering either.
Does anyone else have a pluot in flower now?

Pluot?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Wow...never heard of pluots before.  Now I want one!  My fruit trees look like they are getting ready to flower at any moment.  Lovely buds on them.

Never heard of them either (not the first time I've lost the pluot though - I'm going outside, and I might be some time!)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older
