Is it possible? Is it advisable?!

The varieties I have are Moonbeam, Sunburst and Total Eclipse.

I've never grown them before but I understand they grow similar to courgettes. Last year I grew courgettes in containers and in the ground on my plot. The ones in containers did just as well if not better than the ones in the ground. As they were at home I could pick them at the best time unlike the ones on my plot that sometimes got hidden and grew to marrow sizes! I'd rather grow at home if possible as I'm running out of growing space on my plot! But plenty of big containers at home.

Absolutely no problem at all.  Just keep them watered and fed like courgettes.

I did both at home last year and as Ice suggests the container ones really did need a fair bit more water and feeding than the stuff in the ground.
