I would be grateful to know whether any allotment shops in Coventry and the surrounding area sell seed potatoes individually and whether they allow associate members to join even if they do not live within that area.

I don't know about your local ones, of course, but the ones around here sell to anybody, who turns up, seed pots would be rare to be found for sale though.

We have to order ours from our allotment shop by Nov 4th and pay at same time. Our Cov site is off Clifford Bridge Road Binley  - always a committe member there sunday morning between 10 and 12 might be worth a visit. If not take yourself off to Cov market when the time comes to start them off - the stall on the outside by shel ton square entrance does loads of varieties of seed spuds and they are good quality and a fair price.
