Yes Tony many thanks for the reply. I am also unable to find the calorific value of feed. I have been doing some reading up on this. The cocofeed is a by product from getting the milk and oil out of the meat. they will get about 80-85% of the oil out of the meat. this would bring it down to about 60 calories per 100g not 300 calories per 100g.
It just makes you think how your feed is made up, has the corn or soy been pressed as well. so next time I make some oil I will keep the extruded pellet and dry it.
