rain and silkies..
« on: March 05, 2012, 21:44 »
Hey,

My silkies seem to hate being kept inside during bad weather,  i get quite alot of squawking when i put there food inside for them... (mrs says im being told off by them for not letting them out)

so my question is this..

Are they safe to be out in this weather? they ignore completely the dry/wind proofed areas and go through the dirt,

Any input is appreciated..

My wife, The kids, Coco the dog, Abunch of hens,

let them out they will be fine. I know silkies are supposed to be kept under cover when it rains but many silkies haven't read that section of the manual and quite like being out in the rain  Sadly most silkies have read the section of the manual where it says lay an egg then go broody  ::) :)
Staffies are softer than you think.

My silkies dont mind the rain, as long as I leave some cover available they will take shelter if it teams down otherwise they wonder round and seem to love mud baths.

some times it is hard to tell they are white :tongue2:

question
